The University of Versailles is one of the known Universities in Ile-de-France. It was the former part of also well-known Paris VI technical University in the center of Paris.

University of Versailles is situated in the former royal city Versailles close to the Versailles Chateaux. University proposes multiple faculties and disciplines, including physics, mathematics, informatics, medicine, mobile communications, and other.

Idea was to present the industry know how concerning the mobile protocols, 3GPP organization, modems development principles.

Technical realization of project.

Participation of the former student of Versailles University has plasticized by the Master 2 responsible since the creation of the Master.

My participation in project.

Idea to share my knowledge has been created when I worked in Sagem Mobile.

The first course I’ve presented for the student was dedicated to different Mobile protocols and to analysing of traces, the unfolding of my course supposed the interactive participation of students. Also to explain the necessity of some trick on protocol I proposed to students to imagine what will happen if we don’t have such the feature. Will the system function in the same manner ?

The second course was dedicated to the modem development in general. We have analysed the necessary parts of all receivers and all transmitters.

And the third course spoke about the 3GPP standardization organization, about its organigrame, its purposes, the mobile standards and Releases under development, about the new features and its importance.

Main results.

  • Renewal 3 years the courses by the Training Manager.
